Story
It took a long time for me to figure out that design was the thing I wanted to do and pursue as a career, I have always been a very creative and curious person, passionate about problem solving. But my passions and interests were all over the place. For a long time my life was centered arround basketball, all I did was play, train and think basketball, but As I started getting older I realized I couldn't play forever.
As I started to explore my other interests, I found myself drawn more and more to the outdoors, trying tricks in kayaking, biking, learning how to sail, climb, etc. but it wasn't until I climbed my first mountain that I truly fell In love with it, the challenge, the exploring, and the time around friends.
As I discovered more and more of what it was, I loved to do I noticed I still didn't know what I wanted to do, until one day something clicked, I noticed I was naturally drawn to design whether it was in music looking at the best speakers or the guitars I would love to have, in sports, carefully selecting my next basketball shoe or hiking boot that would allow me to do better and feel better.
I noticed the impact of products in my life, the new interests they could spark, and the boundaries they could break.
With design I could exploit my creative talents, be curious, explore, and challenge myself. I could create a career where I could design for all those passions I have, and those I know will have in the future.
I don’t just design to make a product look good, I design with the hope of creating a difference whether it is in one person's life, helping them find their passion or reach new places like products have done for me before. Or it is helping the world, creating for people in need or those of the world around us.
